Please, I want to know how possible it is to grow beans in large quantities in Southern Nigeria, especially in the Southwest.

It is disheartening to see how the prices of beans keep going up, thereby affecting prices of other foodstuffs.
I checked where our beans come from and discovered it is mostly from the core north states, zamfarA, Kano, Borno, etc.
Relying solely on the unstable north for something as crucial as beans is unsustainable as we can all see now.

So, farmers in the house, please, share your experience of growing beans in large quantities in southern Nigeria. Thanks

The dry season here is usually about 5-6 months from October to April.
