Guy when did you change your tooth brush last.

I found out that it is comon in nigeria that people use their tooth brushes for more than six months.

I dont think its because its expensive, but i think the problem is that its too cheap for us to always remember to buy it.

Like me somtimes i use my tooth brush for more than 4 months before i remember to by a new tooth brush.

Tooth brushes are very difficult to remember to buy even if one goes for shopping.

me i have made it a habit to change my brush monthly ohhhh,i hardly forget, because whenever i go to shop in the mall, i usually buy my tooth brushes in bulk. the dentist has explained why its neccessary. and my mum instilled it into us. she use to flog us then. lol .

please tell us why its necessary to change our toothbrush every month?

The bristle ends become worn and may cause damage to gums and teeth.


Bacteria can build up on the brush head.


Splayed bristles don't clean effectively.

when i wake up in d morning or anytime of the day when i sleep 4 an hour, The first thin i do id 2 brush cos IT SUCKS IF U DONT BRUSH IMMEDIATELY

This week, i change mine every 2 months

brush is to be change at least every 3month!

I must confess, I only change mine whenever i travel, but am neat sha, just that ehhhh, e no easy o! to remember.

Twice a month.  One for day time and one for night time--Throw both away at the first of every month like a ritual.  Dental floss once a week to prevent bleeding from sensitive gums other wise once in 3 days if you brush twice a day like some of us!

enh enhhhhhhhhhhhhh so make we dey change our brush, dat means i go set reminder 4 my phone ooooooooooooo true true na wen i wan travu i dey change am. becaase e dey always dey clean now.

well i actually change mine every 3 month and i always have a spare for keeps u know in case of emergency

Medicaly, toothbrushes should be changed every three month.  But the thing no cost now so no wahala if u change am every month. Abi?
