It is very easy to say “I love you” during merry times, Why not? Why shouldn’t they love you at that time, you have a banging body, coolest voice, most beautiful or handsome face, the sex is great, your house is beautiful, your car is sleek plus you have a little money to throw around. With all of these in place anyone would love you.

When you fall into trouble, become very sick, or have such problem that you loose the banging body, pretty voice, beauty and your finances, that is when you discover or realise what they really meant when they said they love you.

In this our generation where love is expected to come factory fitted with sex for the guys and money for the ladies, finding someone to truly love you for who you are is like trying to solve a complex algebraic equation. The problem persist for both the rich and poor, when you are rich, you have a steady supply of people claiming to love you, most of which is a lie. When you are poor it’s worse, no one wants to even lie they love you, especially in this part of the world.

However, whether rich or poor, while searching for love, find someone who loves you for simply being you. Someone who appreciates you for all your human qualities and attributes, accepts you for your good and bad and celebrates you regardless. Find a heart that will stick with you at your worst and most tempting days and hold you at your weakest times. No matter what comes your way, what life throws at you, they will be there for you till the end. They are the ones that genuinely loves you and should be the only ones to merry with you when it gets better.

If you are lucky and already have such love, value it and fight to keep it. If you are yet to find such, all you need do is search harder and look beyond the pretty face and sweet words. When you finally find such, do all you can to keep them forever.
