I know the Military had been exploited and abused but still it a great sacrifice for those who are in truth serving the fatherland.

After the true victims of everything our armed forces is the next victims, dear God don't turn your back on our soldiers, military is the binding wire of every nation, so terrible that even at the breaking point it is usually from them that the ultimate price begins to be paid.

We all have men and women who have paid the price. May God protect our lands. So that our soldiers can spend more time off jungle maybe with their sweethearts. God heal the land.

There is alot the senior military officers are not speaking out about insurgency in Nigeria. Im not happy when they lost there lives but at thesame time i believe these will be a wakeup call for them to speak out and let face the reality. Thousands of civilians and recruit soldier lost there lives on daily basis which they will never disclose to the nation. Now a general falls? As disheartening as this news appeared. It is important for our security structure to see this as a wake up call, especially the armed forces to disassociate themselves from the partisan politics of Nigeria. Seeing Nigeria as more important and superior to any political office including the presidency.
With this, insecurity and other misnomer going on in the country will reduce if not totally brought to an end.
They should always remember that they are part of the system, and when the system is not in order, they will also share from the consequences of the disorder.

Anyways, God will give his family the fortitude to bear this loss and his wife come back safely and unhurt.

You right bro... I had to double check to be sure it's actually a Major General not just Major. He ought to have military escort even up to military personnel in is home as security and from the look of things it seem the driver is actually a civilian (for him to pretend to be dead), everything just seem odd. It is a right for an officer of his rank to have full military detail it is not even suppose to be a issue for debate
