All of you saying Twitter can't afford to lose Nigeria because of the billions it is making here, can you see that you are wrong?

I remember writing on Twitter to Dorsey that we Nigerians are ready to be using VPN to access Twitter if that would be the cost of freedom of speech

Twitter would actually have lost users if it listened to FG because to we Nigerians that is a sell out

The reason Buhari had to deny his initial moves against them but still maintained the restriction of packets headed to their servers.

This one want to massage Twitter ego.

Twitter traffic from Nigeria are down, impression rates are down, infact many companies cant run ads on Twitter, influencers are getting broke.

Most of the people here dont use Twitter for business, they just comment.

Many shows on Nigerian tv aren't popular again on Twitter because of lack of ad, BBN hype is dead on Twitter.

says Abdul from zamfara hut

Buhari massaged Twitter ego rather, by using his VP and 1st class ministers to broker deal with them which they still turned down

I can't imagine kamara Harris, and USA top appointees asking for a deal with a company supposedly at the begging end yet getting turned down

And then?

If the government is negotiating with Twitter, it is a plus for them, that means Twitter will have to obey their own rules.

This is Twitter traffic data for Nigeria.

Twitter isn't in the first 18 most popular sites in Nigeria and their traffic has gone down

Abdul you sure say your head correct so?

You banned Twitter from Nigeria through IP yet you are saying Twitter isn't in top list of those operating under the Nigeria "Internet Protocol" space.

Why don't you unban them and allow Nigerians decide which site to visit upon which you can rate most visits

Btw it is a shame that a supposed government who bans Twitter for not been it's stooge is the most interested party in finding how to unban them

You are hardly think or comprehend..
Stop being impulsive. Start thinking from today, it will help you.

1. The stats is to show you the effect of Twitter ban on Twitter traffic in Nigeria

2. There is what is called negotiation, each party come to the table and Nigeria will list their list of what they want, if Twitter doesn't like it, they can go their own way, the reality is that Twitter isnt interested in the Nigerian market because it is not lucrative, if they were interested, they would done a deal.

3. another instance is that we dont know if the Nigeria government are meeting with Twitter or not.

4. I dont give a damn, for all i am concerned, Twitter should be banned forever.

5. This is my last reply...no time to argue aimlessly

Its you that failed to comprehend the post, Abdul. The op said Twitter moved on already as if nothing even happen. They're still strong because they're making revenues from other countries. What Twitter make from from Nigeria isn't even upto 0.5% of what they make in total from every country they're in.

Nigeria on the other hand is suffering its citizens since some of them do make a living from Twitter. At the end of the day, it's Nigeria that lost from the ban, not Twitter who are still very stable and aren't even feeling the impact of the ban
