An average African ain't smart thief because of the environment they grew up in and also the level of technology is low hence the reason for myopic thinking when it comes to crime and all sorts unlike in the West.

Someone like him should have a very secure means of communicating with alleged criminals but instead he was careless to the extreme.

He should have gone to his lawyer or perhaps the AGF and explain everything to him. He should have seeked legal consult immediately the news broke out. Also, he should have stayed low-key but instead he was blocking people anyhow in social media, creating more attention and tension.
