If the gift is from your bf and it's something you don't need then why not.
I doubt a wife/husband will buy the other half a gift that's not needed so all gifts in this category is for keeps regardless
Re: Is It Impolite? by Abbycrown(f): 2:43pm On May 19, 2011
It's extremely impolite & unfair. Even if you don't like the thing, appreciate & keep it.

@poster
the minute a gift is handed, that person has the right to do what they please with it. there shouldnt be any emotional attachment to it.
so if you wish to sell it then do it . . . . . . . . . . . . and if you reaaly have to, tell the person who gave it to you why you sold it.

what if you already have one of the gift he gave you? should you keep that gift in the box untouched for the rest of your life?! at least if you dont sell it, give it to a friend who needs it. et voila

It's ur choice, but ofcourse it's not really ethical to do so.
Re: Is It Impolite? by annita19(f): 7:14pm On May 19, 2011
Not all gift are worth keeping but I prefer keeping or give it away as a gift to someone else or donate it to goodwill or salvation army.
Re: Is It Impolite? by HighChief4(m): 7:19pm On May 19, 2011
