In leadership, what paves ways for integrity and honour is when the leaders entrusted and saddled with the roles of governance lead by examples by fielding polices and development plans capable of transforming the society from sorry state to excellence. Leading by examples denotes the readiness of leaders to run an open door policy where every drop of their decisions and actions in government are neutrally subjected to scrutiny, watchfulness and accountability thereby restoring the public confidence in public affairs and governance.

Global Initiatives For Good Governance (GIGG), an umbrella body in socio- political platforms whose responsibilities are to scale, assess and evaluate the performances or otherwise of leaders in our contemporary society and make public comments to that effect. To whom much was given, much is also expected in turns from him and this statement is credited to Chief Willy Obiano, the Executive governor of Anambra State on the current status of his credibility in the discharge of his statutory functions to the people of Anambra State.

With facts and of figures in our possession,we are querying his level of credibility, fairness and performance from the day of his inauguration as governor till date, citing the level of mindless looting and diversion of public funds he had personally carried out so far in the office of the governor of his State. Our functions as a light indicator in observing the workings of things in governance through intelligent gathering have carefully studied and investigated to some reasonable extent and uninhibitedly confirmed piles of looting, misappropriation and mismanagement of funds traceable to Governor Wily Obiano in the United States of America.

Confirmation has it that he personally secured for his private use and ownership several apartment complexes worth billions of dollars in USA regardless of how the poor, destitute and the unemployed suffer in the in the face of these excesses and recklessness.These are funds that could have been channelled to developing education sector, greater healthcare facilities, road projects and agricultural grants to farmers in the State to attract monumental and overall infrastructural development in Anambra State. It is imperative to state that erosion mishaps had been one of the environmental hazards facing various communities in Anambra State that this huge chunk of diverted funds could have been utilized to address the situations.

Furthermore, if these misappropriated funds are invested in agriculture, it would go a long way in increasing, revamping and revitalizing the economy of the State by boasting maximum production of goods and services. Anambra State is one of the major food baskets of the nation where local rice, yam, cereal crops and other economic trees survive and grow, this funds personally coveted could have helped the State in achieving milestones of success in this area of life.

What baffles us as critical analysts of merits and demerits of actions displayed by political leaders is; where is the conscience of most leaders today and this very Governor is at the moment working very hard to ensure he gets his party win the forthcoming governorship election in the State by hiding under the philosophy cloack of our respected Igbo leader of blessed memory, Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, the founder of APGA to perpetrate and perpetuate injustice, corruption and avarice against the will of Ndi Anambra.

We, therefore demand accountability in the leadership of the governor as this body is ready, willing and eager to publish evidences capable of proving beyond reasonable doubts that Obiano s government looted and is still looting Anambra State treasury. In our service to mankind, there is no sacred cow treated with kids glove as we work to ensure the right thing is done to ride Nigeria of blatant corrupt leaders who come to power to amass wealth and abuse public trusts.
