Kano State Hisbah Corps arrests Sadiya Haruna over a nude video
Sahelian Times has recently reported the arrest of renown Kano based blogger and Instagram celebrity, Sadiya Haruna by the men of Kano State Hisbah Board. The online media made the report available on its website. The arrest of the socialite was said to have occurred on Friday, 20, August 2021. She was apprehended for accusations of sharing a nude video. The Board will likely arraign her before a Sharia Court next week.


The Hisbah Corps has totally banned the sharing of nude video or indicent dressing within the territory of Kano State. Some other acts banned by the Board include, Improper hairstyle, immoral dancing, trading and drinking of liquor, using mannequins for advertisement, to mention just a few.

Sadiya Haruna is among the most celebrated Northern women on Instagram. She has over one million followers on the microblogging platform.
