I think the commodore was been mischievous with manipulation of the truth to fit a narrative.

Bellow are some of the lies he said during the interview.


1. That Boko Haram started in 2012( big lie) we all know Boko Haram crisis started in July 2009 during yaradua tenor. We know Muhammed Yusuf and co were killed by the police in July 2009. The video and documents are online.


2. That they interrogate Boko Haram suspects and they named people in this govt but buhari refuse them to arrest them. Why was the said sponsors not arrested from 2009 when the crises started till 2015?
it pass 2 president from yaradua and Jonathan and now it's BUHARI fault.

The question is what was the commodore doing all this while from 2009 till 2015 without making any arrest untill buhari became the president that was when he remembered?


3. Mosque are open to Muslims every Friday across military formation this statement is true but misleading because churches are opened across military formations on Sundays too.


4. He was part of the people who brought buhari to power false buhari became the party bearer of apc after successful merger of CPC and AD. The merger talk failed during 2011 election. Buhari was voted by majority of Nigerians to emerge the next president. We never saw commodore in any campaign etc.


He need to make all this clear so that we will understand his motivation.

Commodore Olawunmi said in his interview that DSS and some other security and intelligence agencies have lots of information about those people who are sponsoring the gunmen...instead of inviting the man, why can you liaise with some of the security agencies he has mentioned to give them the information you need to quash down on this terrorist group called Boko Haram...
The man will be the biggest fool of the year if he honors such an ignoble invitation because there is more to the invitation than just wanting to sniff information from him...

Reason is his credibility is in questions because he twist know facts to suit a narrative. Eg Boko Haram started in 2012 and a simple Google search will show Boko Haram started in July 2009.
