Hello guys, based on experience and relationship, which HMO will you recommend for people to register with as at today September 9th 2021?

I also don't know about NHIS if it's good.

Reason I'm asking this is most times salary earners are the ones who benefit from this HMO stuff cos it's being withdrawn from their salary.

Now what about business people and market people aren't they supposed to benefit?

What HMO would you recommend and how much is the plan?

I would guess it's 2 factors. Picking the right HMO and plan for yourself, and then choosing the right hospital. Axa Mansard is reputable, as well as THT. You will need a little bit more searching for hospitals.

Cheers

Try SOSOCARE. It's the most affordable and accessible from anywhere

You do not pay 10% on your treatment and you are not tied to any particular hospital. Even if you are outside your state of residence you can walk into any of the partner hospitals nationwide.

Again you can use Recyclables to pay for your HMO.

There are many ways to identify which HMO qualifies as the best in Nigeria. They are like (some) insurance companies, who take your money when you are healthy, but turn their backs on you partially or completely, when you need them the most.

I don't work for anyone of them, but let me dash you my 2cents as a provider.

Only Hygeia and ... Axamansard are undisputedly the best

Phillips, may be Novo, THT, Avon can be managed somehow(if you have option choose wisely)

ReliaSomething, Lifekinikan, Wellmet ati some other funny mama and pickin HMO..... (are worse than Yahoo) Run.

Don't be fooled by their yengenyengen advert online and car branding, it's your money for quality healthcare in action and nothing more

May God be with you

Healthcare international (HCI) with headquarters in Lagos.

Effective in healthcare delivery but poor personel management
Re: Which Is The Best HMO In Nigeria? by ThierryJay: 6:49pm On Sep 09, 2021
Op, in terms of quality of service and scope of accessible medical services, the NUMBER ONE is AXA MANSARD, though its premium is slightly higher than its counterparts but is still affordable.

I used Hygeia before and it was okay, but when I switched to Mansard, I felt the higher premium value right away.

Clearline, Novohealth have trashy services.

AXA Mansard is good. They have a very wide coverage. We were using them before in my place of work, but the management decided to switch to Greenbay for reasons I can't really say. Greenbay is not doing badly though.

The irony of it all is that they deduct from my salary every month for it, but I hardly fall sick to visit a hospital.
