Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has given reasons he defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.


Speaking on Channels Television programme, ‘Politics’, Femi emphatically said he joined APC to achieve unity, peace and togetherness in Nigeria.

When asked to comment on the statement he made in 2015 against President Muhammadu Buhari, the outspoken Femi opined that: “There is a time to condemn and criticise people. There is also a time to come together, work together to achieve unity”.

Recall that Femi had in 2015 condemned politicians that joined the ruling party, saying that he would rather die than join APC.

His words: “I am not surprised that @MObanikoro and @iyiomisore have got their passports back from the EFCC and are now in America.I do not blame them for joining the ruling party to avoid persecution. Some are strong whilst others are weak. I would rather die than join APC or bow to Buhari

Live as it resonates with you. You don’t live to please people. You own your truths and live by them. You’re not a prisoner of people’s thoughts and opinions....
However, you should as well hold yourself by the same very standards of which you condemn others.
When we read things like this, the realistic response is to click heels and just keep walking. Politicians are not there to serve anybody but themselves. Can someone please borrow me some words to say this in a better way?

Kayode is needy, he is gradually going broke, reason why he was on several occasions ass licking APC stalwarts from Yahaya Bello to Matawalle to attending Buhari's son's wedding.
He needs money to fund his philandering lifestyle.

His late Dad Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunbo Fani-Kayode was a an honorable man who fought and stood for what was right during his time, it is a pity that 25 years after his death, his son who was suppose to emulate him is ass licking those who have put Nigerians in pains and agony for his own selfish gain as against what his Dad stood and fought for.

Indeed Chief Adetokunbo Fani-Kayode in his grave will be so displeased with his "Judasious" son who has sold his conscience for cash and political relevance.


Even Apostle Paul says “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.”

Shame on Femi I am tempted to remove Fani Kayode from his name, he shouldn't tarnish that name.
