Ahahaha that person advise funny oh. Once you start calling them everyday they will be pissed off and will assume u are to desperate and may deny your visa. abeg who wan call make he use sense oh before he use he hand scatter wetin God don do.

In as much as I would be joyous and feel elated over getting my Visa, I would be happier when everyone gets his/her Visa fast.

My brother in Germany want to send me an invitation letter so that I can apply for a visiting visa, but I have it at the back of my mind that I will visit and not come back at the expiration of my visa, though I did not tell my brother this,

I know I'll become an illegal immigrant but just want to know if you think I can still manage to hustle, you know that kind of levels na.

Do you think its gonna help

Really, what's the letter for, assurance? I don't think the fellow needs that. He/She should just go and convince the consul, and that's all!

hello guys! i have an issue bothering me.
first my school, universitat leipzig, took their decision on the 9th of september, and i got a pdf 2 days later (11th of october cos i was not initially notified via e-mail, i just mailed them and was replied with a pdf). The letter says that i may register on the 30th september or 1st,2nd and 4th of october. i filled for a blocked account on Monday, 16th October. i mailed the embassy for an appointment date and they declined, saying i should defer to summer( the course no get summer); then i had to contact the school to mail the embassy on my behalf, which they did..... To cut the story short, i was later booked for 8th October(blocked account should be ready then). The thing is, if all things go psitive, my ViSA would be ready by probably 3rd week of october, which is definitely after the end of the registration period. i just feel it will be too late for me and i dont want to assume there should be grace on the resumption date given to international student. Abeg, guys over there, what do you think about grace given for resumption?

another particular scare is the content of the email the sent to the embassy, which i translated via google:

"Dear Ms. Renee Delouvain, I am writing to you in the case of xxxxx. Mr. xxxx could be admitted for the winter semester 2013/14 in the waiting list for the program in Structural Chemistry and Spectroscopy at the University of Leipzig. I would appreciate if you could if possible give him a date for his student visa. A letter of acceptance for the summer term can not be issued and he could apply again only in one year. Thank you in advance. Sincerely yours"

nothing to worry about brother, you can only be 'admitted' after 'enrolment' which is what we call 'registration' here in Nigeria. so as long as they have given you admission you are on the school's waiting list until when you enroll at the school and commence lectures. the same applies to all students. this is my answer to the best of my knowledge..

You guys are doing a nice job here.Big kudos to Godson,Tope,Kelly and other big gurus on this thread.The kind of input,time and brothehood is just too much that mere words cannot explain it.Even if our leaders have marginalised us the youth in Nigeria,I can still see the love and support we have for each other.I personally believe that when you help your fellow man achieve his dream,you have done to him the best thing in life and God will bless you for that.This tread since inception has help alot.

No one can really tell so grab the opportunity now while it last cos i remember delaying then for Sweden when it was free and before i knew it, they started charging very high.
