Begs Nigerians to remember Niger state in their prayers as bandit terrorists and boko haram terrorists ravage the state

Niger state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has said that the state needs all the prayer and support it can get from its people and Nigerians.

Sani-Bello stated this in Minna while receiving the supply of food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Niger state from the Member representing Chachanga Federal Constituency, Honorable Mohammed Umaru Bago.

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane said that prayers from every quarter would be very important in overcoming the challenges bedevilling the state.

“We call on Nigerlites to continue to pray for us over the security challenges we are having in the state. Prayers will be very important for us to overcome these challenges and support in any way or form will be important and appreciated.”

Speaking about Nigeria Independence, the SSG said that it is gladdening that the Nation has remained one united and indivisible entity despite the challenges it has faced.

Matane applauded the Legislator for the palliatives given to the IDPs while he called on other well-meaning Nigerlites and individuals to give support to the IDPs as the government needs every support it can get to support the IDPs who keep growing in numbers daily.

“We believe that any additional support will help. The government is willing to receive any support that will help them in catering for the IDPs because they are growing in large numbers.”

The Legislator representing Chachanga Federal Constituency, Honorable Mohammed Umaru Bago said that the donation is a way to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence with the IDPs and to let them know that they are not forgotten.

Bago who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Abdulhakeem Oshonuga said that the items to be distributed to the IDPs include rice, maize, millet and noodles.

The Director General of the Niger state Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA), Alhaji Ibrahim Inga assured that the palliatives would be adequately distributed among the IDP camps saying that there would be accountability and transparency in the sharing.
