Helpee the issue has been complicated somewhat. You have installed quite a number of valve bodies, we now don't know what the original problem was. Which valve body will you be scanning now. I suggest you reinstall the original valve body and then scan. You can then proceed from the codes pulled. If it turns out that it's valve body issue, my advice is that you get a new oem replacement. Nissparts can help you out on that.

Hi,

I think i'm ready to work on my car now.
The list has increased oh!!! So please your best price would highly be appreciated.

The timing chain (noise on acceleration)
Side lights (some hungry thief took all four of them)
I need halo headlights (prefer demon eyez not angel eyez)
Front and rear shocks

The lights on my dash went off after the theft of my side lights-----> would need an auto electrician for that and other minor things.

Hi, please remind me what year your maxima is?
Re: Nissan/infiniti Parts Store On Opebi Road by Wylout: 3:02pm On Feb 02, 2012
2000 model maxima.
Re: Nissan/infiniti Parts Store On Opebi Road by nissparts(m): 3:14pm On Feb 02, 2012
You can get this "devil" light package with the side lights for 70k.

Please call so we can schedule to bring your car over to Ikeja first so I can confirm it's actually the timing chain issue you are experiencing and not engine pinging

Hi Boss!

Just bought a 2003 Infiniti G35 and I'm lovin it. I have a couple of questions though:

1- How much for a simple service (oil filter, change oil etc)?
2- Do u have halo light kits + HID (or any other light kits for this model), if so how much? Even if it has to be pre-ordered.
3- Do u do tints (not the cheap tint film that u can't see out of from the inside)?
4- Do u do any other "pimping" for '03 G35's (smoked rear lights, rims etc)?

Thanks!
Re: Nissan/infiniti Parts Store On Opebi Road by nissparts(m): 4:51pm On Feb 02, 2012
Hi, excellent car.

In response to your questions

1.Service- Bring your oil. We'll supply Bosch superior oil filter plus labour for N5,500. If you need an airfilter replacement, add N4500 to that cost. Plugs dont need to be changed except you are over 100,000 miles

2. Anything light related for Infiniti models are quite expensive. The halo projector set with foglights arrives at N105k. Without foglights is 80k. You wont need HIDs. No rear lights available

3. We dont do tints

4. No other pimping is done

Help!!! my car is overheating__
1st its a nissan maxima 2000=
The only thing i have done since i notice the quick rise in temperature was to flush the radiator.
Now it still heats up but not as fast as before.
If i put on the ac it overheats faster.
With the windows down it the temperature meter climbs up and down slowly.
No leaks, No reduction in volume of coolant, --- can't think of any other useful information i should give.
Re: Nissan/infiniti Parts Store On Opebi Road by nissparts(m): 8:40pm On Feb 05, 2012
Sounds like your radiator fan is malfunctioning. No way to tell for sure though without examining it

I have a 98 Nissan primera PR auto tranny which developed transmission problem around June last year. Initially started with delayed shifting from 1 to 2. Later it worsened refusing to shift from gear 2 to 3. Had a mechanic check it out and he proposed the solution of changing the tranny altogether. The weird thing is that he went to purchase a tranny that works with cable - said he couldn't find the one for mine which is exclusively ECU controlled. He fixed the cable controlled one which works for about 4 months problem free. However, December last year it's back with tranny issues. This time it refuses to shift from 1 to 2. I've since had it packed at home just warming the engine occasionally. Please what do you suggest that I do? Thanks.

It appears you did not see my comment, a fact that I'd take with a pinch of salt considering the many inquiries you have to answer on the forum. Therefore on that assumption, I have repasted here again. Looking forward to a reply. Merci.

Hey Ceaser,

You are right, I must have missed that one.
Here's the thing though, apart from the fact that I'm not familiar with primera engines, the fact that you have worked an unfamiliar transmission to the vehicle would negate any rational advice you can be given apart from installing the vehicle's own oem transmission.

Sorry.

Thanks s'much. But I'm thinking that maybe you'd have in stock an auto transmission as replacement, at least that way I can be assured of getting something of quality?

Ahh, unfortunately, I dont stock transmissions but I can look into ordering it for you if that's an option
