It's only a lazy man that cannot afford to feed his family, if na truck, go push am, if na pure water,go sell am, by all means do menial jobs to feed ur kids. Or stop having them.
Imagine this oloriburuku, he won't feed them yet he will want to form disciplinarian. Very heartless fellow. I even vex for the kids mom, she should have left with her kids.

A man was maltreating his kids by beating them and locking them up in the house without food. Instinct to survives kicks in and the kids decide to eat what they found and you are here talking rubbish!

You can never stop your kids from collecting and eating edibles from those they know .Even if u provide them with everything.At school,u will see them begging for and sharing one orange or mango with others using their teeth.
Nothing will happen to them.U are not God their creator.Even if u as their parent die,they will still survive and nobody will poison them.
Evil people don't poison kids because they are liabilities.
U become their target the moment u start buyilding building a house or u start recording a meaningful achievement in life.So leave kids,and face ur hustling life.

Nawa oh, I remember those days as a kid, whenever a stranger or our neighbor gives us food, or biscuit to eat, we will refuse, "telling the person that my mother said I should not collect food from anybody" grin

If you look at it from another angle, the man was right, because those kids will one day eat a poisoned food and die, it's just that he went too far, at least 16 strokes of koboko each on their bum bum is enough for them
