Business deal gone wrong? People should always respect God, why keep your phone on in his presence? And even step out to pick the call. Now look where it landed.

People should not entertain any fear as the Police and other security agencies are working towards unraveling the situation surrounding the incident.”

He also said that men of the Nigeria Police have already been deployed in strategic places in the metropolis, to prevent such reoccurrence.

Hahahahahahaha hahahahahaha... So the police can tell jokes publicly?! cheesy

He was called on phone during the service as he walked out of the church to receive the call. The sound of gun shots rend the air, which drew the attention of the congregation,” Okasanmi said.

What if the assailants were the ones calling him? It appears that he’s probably the target for this horror.

The caller is a lead, they aren't that smart, they must be caught

Maybe he didn't share money in the right proportion with other agents, could be a very big deal...

Stop cheating people, please...

It's definitely the case. The person who called is the one who arranged the murder. How can he get a call and gunmen were waiting so conveniently to kill him and only him?

It was very stupid on the person's part, because the call log can be checked.

However, I'm concerned that our phenomenally inept police will miss such an obvious point.

I will never understand the rational behind people who would leave their home to serve God in the church, only for them to be pressing phones in the church!

Out of 24hours, just one hour or plus to the Almighty, the giver of life, you will still mess it up

Some will only go on a Sunday, only to go and be pressing phones

If you didn't press the phones during those hours, you go die

If truly he had actually gone to the church to serve God

A respect to Him, would have safe him from the clutches from death! undecided

Don't let anyone deceive you, this world is spiritual!

Yeah.

If he hadn't answered his call the assassins would have given up and gone home.

Even in Church. At the end, the church will lose its value due to evil people populating it. It will come down to personal relationship with Christ.

The person that called him should be the main suspect. It's not a coincidence that a call makes him step outside and killers targeting him are waiting for him at the same instance.

Did you know him himself had soiled his hand in? Many do all sort of nonsense out and run to church for sheld. God is not stupid.

Possible, but an assailant should know that will be an easy lead to them, except they used a stolen phone. On the other hand, it could just be a random call, meanwhile the assailant were only laying siege for him. In that case, only God will help that person from the Nigeria police we all know.

I don't just conclude on killings of this nature as most times it is as a result of business gone wrong, maybe sharing formula or one party taking everything for himself.
