2 Secrets David Engaged To Defeat Goliath; A Lesson For All Who Want To Succeed In Life

When I was a child, we were taught in Church about the story of David and Goliath and how David conquered him. We only knew how David killed Goliath but we didn' t know the secrets he engaged to kill Goliath.

These secrets are applicable in all battles of life; battle against poverty, childlessness, sickness and so on. When you learn them and begin to engage them, you' re sure of victory.

It did not only work for David, it worked for many others all through the Bible

According to the account of the bible in 1 Samuel chapter 17, Goliath was a powerful giant fighter, more than 9 fit tall (around 2× the stature of a normal man). He wore a bronze protective cap and bronze body covering of around 57 Kg. The bronze covered even his legs. The tip of his spear was made with iron of around 7 kg (this would pierce into a person' s bone whenever utilized on him added with Goliath' s energy). Added to every one of these, he actually had an armour bearer at his front.

In July 12, 2016, CNN published that archaeologists have excarated the first

Philistine cemetery ever discovered, revealing how they dug up a skull which was as big as that of the biblical Goliath. This establishes the fact that the Biblical story of a giant as big as the Bible described is not false and the David and Goliath story is not a tale.

Goliath was actually a dread that would be hard to kill.

He came out twice daily yelling and taunting the Israelites that let Israel bring out just a single individual who might battle with him, and whosoever is crushed, his country will become captives to his winner.

King Saul and the entire soldiers of Israel were scared, they all shuddered and nobody was challenged to approach Goliath. I don' t blame them on the grounds that nobody would go into a fight without first ascertaining if he has the capacity and odds of winning. Goliath was more mighty than them by every human basis.


But David at that time David was a shepherd boy, who didn' t have a sword, never had military training but he knew something about his God.

He was sent by his dad to proceed to give food to his warrior siblings who had been going out for the fight with Saul' s military for 40 days.

As he was there, Goliath came out and yelled and derided Israel of course. David perceived how the entire Israeli armed force fled from him shaking.

David was informed that the king said that whoever kills Goliath gets his daughter as a wife and his family would no more pay tax.

What! David asked 2 more individual and confirmed the reward for killing Goliath.

David simply needed to affirm what might be given to the person who killed Goliath since he was extremely certain he would kill him since he knew something others didn' t have the idea of.

Why David Was Not Afraid Of Fighting Goliath Regardless Of How Mighty Goliath Was

It was surprising how a young boy as David was confident that he would kill such a big great worrior as Goliath, but I' ll prove to you why David was not afraid at all.

Jesus said in Luke 14: 31;

" Or what king would ever dream of going to war without first sitting down with his counselors and discussing whether his army of ten thousand is strong enough to defeat the twenty thousand soldiers who are marching against him? "
