INEC Ad-Hoc Staff Reject Posting, Deployment To Polling Units In Anambra by MANDIPUTIN: 11:38pm On Oct 29, 2021
With just one week to the Governorship Election in Anambra State, Dr. Leonard Nzenwa, Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has raised serious doubt about the turnout of voters at polls despite the best efforts of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Speaking at the Special consultative meeting of the political parties summoned by the electoral umpire, Nzenwa said the people of Anambra are scared stiff to contemplate voting on November 6 owing to the activities of non- state actors in the state.

Nzenwa urged INEC to address unconfirmed reports that INEC adhoc staff are massively rejecting deployment to polling units and even Anambra State owing to the security situation in the state.

He said the worrisome security concerns has also soared the cost of running the election around the billionaire Governorship candidates and the Commission itself, saying that it was for these vicissitudes that informed the call by some IPAC members for the suspension of the poll to allow time for sanity to prevail.

It is better to postpone the election and call for dialogue. It is not cowardice but a good strategy to save lives. If these unknown gunmen hit the security agents hard and these security operatives get frustrated - they may turn their guns against innocent people they are today telling to come out and vote. Do you know what? Those that pretend to love and care for Igbo land will be shouting "kill them all, we told them."

The government should look for a way to make peace. I desperately want peace to return. Enough of the killings.

Again, are you sure Observers will risk their lives to come to Anambra? I don't think they will bother to come.

Election is not a do or die affair. A government that priorities elections over the life of it's people is a disgrace.

TO ALL LOVERS OF FREEDOM; READ WITH ALL SERIOUSNESS.

There is a serious discussion on the table between the federal government of Nigeria and the power brokers of the country regarding Nnamdi Kanu. The discussion is divided into two party.

The first party which is more civil and sensible wants Nnamdi Kanu sent back to Kenya so that the federal government will now make a formal extradition request in other to escape the knock from the international community and reduce the support and prominence kanu is gathering;

While the second party which is more brutal and satanic wants the Fg to release Kanu from the court, where which he will be immediately abducted by bandits and killed and the federal government will feign ignorance.
The president is seriously considering this second opinion but is still weighing the consequences considering the large number of people always appearing for the case in Kanu support; the president fears that it may lead to heavy blood shed and crisis within Aso rock; the corridor of power; which may eventually boost morale of some not so trusted military officers and lead to a coup; the worst thing the president is afraid of and making him consider the first option.

This is from a reliable source and shouldn't be taken for granted.

This fear of the unknown and the known will mar Anambra elections.

..and this will give room for rigging..

Anyone that has his/her polling unit very close to their home should try and vote..

You go out or not..even if na 10 people voted at a polling unit, that result will be counted and such results will determine the next governor of Anambra state

Buhari's government won't postpone this election. Anambra will be used as a lesson to other States on how not to have terrorists who disrupt elections. Even Boko Haram cooperated with Nigeria in all elections from 2015 and never disrupted in one polling unit. Since IPOB and the fools that support them think they are smart, APC government will show them the result they have been looking for. APC will win Anambra election hands down. IPOB and others are sitting at home.

Only 10 people in all polling units across a state?
Go and read about why INEC declares election inconclusive
