i was thinking about this as well and i think its a really serious issue with GEJ seem to be totally clueless about.you cannot defeat terrorism by bein reactive but being pro active.
the government needs to have a seperate unit dedicated to terrorism and spend more money on an intelligence led assault you dont go crushing the group and naively believe they will all desist they have simply gone underground and now they have sleeper units just like mid east terrorists abroad and then undertake flash attacks and go underground.

There is a great difference between Boko Haram and ND militants. Militants were/are localised in terms of camps while Boko Haram have been dispersed and they are gradually spreading across the Nation. Suppressing people who are attacking government institutions including police and who are not even afraid of being killed will require more time, efforts, money and intelligence than what you people are thinking. And, if indeed they are terrorists as many believe, then you have to multiply the resources that will be required. Before, they had settlement, now they don't. They are operating sleepers cell-like units. How do you bomb them.

In this Country,we have hordes of men/women receiving salaries and parading themselves as security intelligence agencies.

What do they really do? i perceive their work is more of intelligence gathering and yet they never gather any intelligence until the plot has been hatched,sometimes even announced b4 execution and finally delivered and then the Military will be unleashed to quell it.

Last month,intelligence report was received about an armed robbery attack somewhere in the Northern part fo Nigeria and the robbers gave the exact date of their attack.Suprisingly,they came same day as earlier announced and raided Banks and left.

We have to get pro-active in this country and stop all these reactive fire-brigade approach to sensitive security issues.

They should let them destroy the hospital as long the hospital is located in their own domain. Let em all rot over there. Backward set of people.
