WAR WITHOUT END: Life in Ìgàngàn After Fulani Eviction by Igboho | Foundation for Investigative Journalism On the eve of June 6, an army of Fulani marauders enveloped Ìgàngàn, an agrarian town in the Ibarapa region of Oyo State, killing 11 people in their sleep and burning multi-million naira properties to dust. Nine locals had a shave with death, suffering life-threatening deformities which some of them described as “worse than death”. Amidst the rumours of an imminent siege, investigative journalist Gabriel Ogunjobi visited Ìgàngàn to document how the survivors were picking up their pieces. https://fij.ng/article/war-without-end-life-in-igangan-after-fulani-eviction-by-igboho/

War without end in Ingangan and Ibarapa? But afonjas on nairaland are shouting Ipob upandan while their beloved brown roof states are being bombarded left and right by Fulani mauraders. 8 Likes 1 Share |

The people in that place should defend themselves. Don't put your activities online for an easy arrest by the police. Don't try to be famous leave that to Koiki or people abroad otherwise, they will use you for gun training. If you have to don't publish your story oh. DEFEND YOURSELVES BY EVERY MEANS NECESSARY. |

SlyDev:LOL. You people like deceiving yourselves. The only battle you people fought that was witnessed by external observers was with the teenage girls of Darhomey which they decapitated all your Oyo soldiers. Fighting within yourselves is not called war but "riot" Your only war ended in disgrace at the hands of the beautiful teenage girls of Darhomey 1 Like |

SlyDev:You fought all these epic wars, yet your ancestors made history for been the only people in Southern Nigeria to have a Fulani emirate in Kwara ruling over the indigenous Yorubawa people till date...if that's not the height of cowardice, then I don't know what else I'll call it. For proper context, a bunch of turban wearing fulani teenagers from the far-flung deserts of Sokoto came all the way to Yorubaland, then annexed a whole territory and forced the people to bow before an EMIR on Yoruba soil... that historical stain of shame and ignominy will never ever be wiped off 6 Likes |

War without end is what? If they had not betrayed the hero they had, the foolanis would have been sent packing for good. Now no one can do what Igboho did for them. None could take his place. Only to lament from morning till night. |

typical afonja cowards, look at what they are typing up there they cant afford war with fulani that have chased their grandma and grandpa to benin republic, those who couldnt run were hacked like goats. but they would rather hope for peace, while being a slave in their own lands, cos many of them cant go to farms anymore where is their amotekun self, those ones are good at arresting cultists and naira marley wannabes, but cant enter forests and confront WE-KILL-YOU(wakilu) boys 1 Like |
