You can tell them to open an account called Nigerians Living in Diaspora with GT Bank. Their fees is way lower than WU/MG. Cheers |

Use a company called DT & T. Their operation is similar to WU & MG but they are much less expensive and their exchange rate is very competitive indeed. Please see link to their website below http://dttcl.com/ |

@naijababe Indeed I just checked out DT&t ,,,quite frankly their charges are indeed very reasonable, Snag is I wonder which nigerian banks are tied in to DT&T services, been checking nigerian banks and am yet to see any , @wealthbee1. .thanks 4 ur concern, indeed I know about domicilliary accounts, and the last time I did things with one, the charges where not very encouraging @ jazes, am guessing I would need to open a similiar account with GTB, or would a domicilliary account suffice? @all, a big thanks for the contributions while I explore all raised suggestions for the one that bests suits my purpose |

Western Union and MoneyGram indeed can be quite expensive. Cheaper options are Azimo or Paysera services (if you are able to receive USD transfers). Also to use these options you need to have a bank account. If you have conditions, then sending money will be substantially cheaper for your relatives. |
