The painful thing about terrorism is that the original sponsors are passive in every administration, the president is only a puppet.
The sponsors are never interested in becoming president, governors, senators etc. They just want to be off public light and be controlling the government.
Forget that Buhari is the president, he's just a puppet to those behind it, him fighting them will not go well with his safety and his family. He's just a means to an end, so many things are beyond his command, he doesn't have the sole decision of governance that's why he's a slowpoke when it comes to taking the nation forward. They're the ones holding the nation backward, forget what is happening in the north. In a country that terrorism is tearing apart, is planning of conducting election in Anambra state.

Part of the budgeted amount was stolen by Boko Haram last year. It seems they made an allowance for it in the new budget

The Nigerian army are more equipped than the forces they're fighting. Clearly, these people are not serious with fighting this war. They know d sponsors or key people financing this terrorists yet they can't get them arrested or freeze their accounts so the terrorists can run out of cash, yet they want to convince us they're fighting a war in the north. All the people in top positions(including northern politicians occupying Aso Rock) to put an end to this menace is clearly the people sponsoring & wanting the war to continue so they can keep making money & looting funds budgeted for the fight.

The budget prepared by the Army is to small to address the current security challenges, not to talk of the Budget before the National Assemble.

This is the reason why insecurity is not ending any time soon..... People in the government are benefiting from it.

That's almost a trillion naira to fight a demon created by northerners themselves.... A shitty country!

Senators are not very useful to us in Nigeria, Nigerian senator must vote to reduce their allowances and salaries, and divert that money into the welfare of the army personnel. Only truth will save us, they are kidnapping politicians too and their families, still you people no wan change...na wa for una. No one is safe from these security threats we must reduce overheads for Senate and Presidency (executive) and put into military.
