Day 559, 1 year and 194 days, of the Shame of Kano. 305 days since the federal court first ordered the release of Mubarak Bala. Mubarak Bala the Hero of Humanism and President of the Humanist Society of Northern Nigeria is still alive and being held as a political prisoner in Kano state by Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR. Another day passes and Mubarak Bala continues to resist the psychological torture of illegal imprisonment by his father and Ganduje the governor of Kano. They want him to revert to Islam. So much for 'no compulsion to religion' in Islam. That is a lie.
