In a report by Endpoverty, over 90 million people in Nigeria are living in extreme poverty and at the current birth rate, the country is primed to be the third most populous country in the world by 2050.


We need to have a conversation about the proper use of resources and Nigeria's monies. I see no reason why the minimum wage is what it currently is. If the legislators are so sure of its adequacy, why can't they opt to receive minimum wage? Many of them rake in more money than the President of the United States of America gets paid monthly, IN ONE SITTING! The situation is very appalling.

Senators and all Legislators should either earn minimum wage or set up a properly regulated level payment system that public ministries use.
