Lanre Jason Onabowale, 33, son of the owner of popular eatery Mama Cass, Charis Onabowale, has been released from prison after serving only 5 years of his 18 years prison sentence for rape.


As a university business student, he raped four woman after spiking their drinks with a date rape drug in 2005. After he was arrested, several other women came forward to testify that he had also raped them. Lanre sexually assaulted women for several years before he was caught and jailed in 2006 on four charges of rape and one sexual assault. He was released from prison a few weeks back but his name has been put on the sex offenders list for life

That is not the way the justice system works in the UK guys.

He had a maximum tarrif of 18yrs, would have been expected to serve half the time, so thats 9yrs, and was probably let out on license for good behaviour. So he is probably walking around with an electronic tag, and is being monitored, one false move and he is back in prison

If he is wise, he would definitely use this as a lesson and amend his ways. There is always room for second chances in life. If he was released for good behaviour then some lessons might have been learnt already. I rest my case.
