Having the same problem too! Out of the country and fidelity ATM foreign withdrawal is 229, I'm wondering why this is so! They need to correct this issue

Fidelity is not 229, is 209, and one of the cheapest at the moment, check the machine you are drawing from maybe they have some charges, I used fidelity today, used it yesterday also

Good for you that you got a low rate but fidelity has consistently been on 228-229, you only got lucky with the 209, i can assure you it wont last.

SKYE Bank charged me N225.91 today.

I will try Fidelity next time.

I have not gotten any satisctory explanation as to why these banks are charging us excessively. And the worst of it is that there is no place where we can check to see the various bank dollar rate so as to know how much one wld b charged per dollar.

When I called gtbank customer care today, the lady there was just telling me there is a "body" of banks that determine the charges and rate bla bla bla...

We can force these banks to on a daily basis show their Forex rate for online transactions so we can know how much we buying dollars just like CBN always display how much the banks wld pay per dollar on daily basis.
