They are only around to approve ridiculous by the bastad presido, and collect our scarce resources. The only thing I hoped to get right was to veto PMB on the electoral bill but alas they failed. They have to die this year o or Nigerians will keep suffering.

Kick them lazy mofos Out of the out NOW.

The below will really go a long way to sanitize our nation.

a) Abolish CONSTITUENCY PROJECT FUNDS
b) Reduce number of ADVISERS to SENATE PRES(2), HOUSE SPEAKER(2), GOVs(4), PRESIDENT(5), VP(2)
c) Reduce current ALL Political Office Holders pay CHEQUES by 51.5%, without exception
d) Do away with special remuneration to POLITICAL ADVISERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS e.g; Purchase of Private Vehicles, Houses, granting Govt paid Vacations, paying for 1st & Business Class Transportations, etc, etc...
e) Abolish payment of OVERSEAS MEDICAL BILLS for Political Office Holders.
f) Eliminate PRIVATE PRACTICE in public workforce
g) Eliminate participation of Public Workforce in Partisan Politics.
h) Institute EMPLOYMENT BY MERIT, and eliminate UNDEREMPLOYMENT.
i) Review and eliminate allocation of Govt paid POLITICAL AIDES & SUPPORT STAFF to Political Office Holders.

We pray we get there someday!

The solution;

(1) Pay them per sitting. Install biometric clock in device for attendance. Latecomers should not be paid.

(2) Remove the unnecessary and overbloated allowances

(3) Enforce 1 & 2 above and see sanity in the system.

With that, we can even have tricamera legislature.

They should be in part-time sessions to cut cost and or we adopt unicameral legislature by scrapping the Senate completely!

The national assembly is an economical burden to the nation. We should use the system were people are selected from the 36 states to sit and deliberate on states and national issues twice a year.

That is why legislators should not be on full time salaries and allowances.

They should be paid based on sitting without altering the 181 days requirement.

The make the law and can twist it to the way they like. And you think those people are effective. Just money suckers. Who dare to complain.

This is the problem I have with our constitution and law making in Nigeria. Laws are made without sanctions for its violators. If there is a serious sanction for them then would have no choice but sit for 181 days as the law prescribed.

What did you expect from a "RUBBER STAMP" National Assembly under Lawan and Gbajabiamila?

Calling heads of MDAs to come defend a supplementary budget after its passage by the National Assembly.

The worst disservice they did to Nigeria is their inputs in the 2022 budget signed by Buhari.

Who signs a budget for implementation on a caveat that he is sending it back for amendments, what fraud is that?

I only said that to suggest that bicameral legislature isn't really the problem but the cost of running and maintaining the lawmakers. If we yank off their unnecessary allowances an make the earn per sitting, we can have as many Eggheads in the National Assembly as possible.

And the 66days, they deliberated on nothing that would benefit those that elected them to power. Negatives!!

They feel the complications of their jobs is the excuse for why the common man need not ask questions.
