The Niger Delta militan held the country to a standstill for so many years, their major target were oil pipelines,oil flowstations,the kidnapping of expartriate workers and the blowing up of so many oil facilities in the region.Their operations were mainly in the Niger Delta creek.But Boko Haram, the new terrorist group in Nigeria, started by campaigning against western education,little did our security agencies realize that Boko Haram intentions will go this far. With the recent spate of bombing in the North and in Abuja, and what I will call the first sucessful suicide bomber in Nigeria, one may argue that Niger Delta Militant were just child-playing when compared to Boko Haram.
