Nigerians have become so numb to levels of corruption and looting that if something becomes free, they quickly doubt and dismiss it. The country has psycologically damaged its citizens and as such, they expect to suffer deeply for everything. Now, people wont even believe that the country can afford free education AND HEALTHCARE. IBB and OBJ's loot alone can give the ENTIRE NIGERIA free education for 2 decades. If Rochas has effectively plugged all the looting loop holes in the state, ofcourse free education is possible. After all during Mbakwe's time, not only was primary education free, the school uniforms and BATA sandals were also free. The several decades of terrible and helplessly corrupt government has conditioned the citizens to believe that the govt is there for nothing. This may be why we keep getting bad leaders. |

I paid 6450k as a student of imsu and d school was being run efficiently.let all d leaking holes in d pockets of imo be plugged and u'll see dat things wud turn out well in imo. |

Emperoh: That's why I said you need to do your research well before making any comment. Google is at your disposal, google any university in any Scandinavian country (Sweden, Finland, Denmark etc ) and see if they charge their local students and EU nationals any money to study. And even foreign students only pay in certain programmes not all. I don't know where you ppl got the notion that free education equals low quality education, may be that's why politicians take advantage and rip us off, cos if they make it free we feel it is low quality. Go and do your research well, even certain Universities in Germany don't charge any fees, like the one in Cottbus |
