The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samdaddy Anyanwu, on Wednesday said the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has been angry because Nigerians have rejected the party.

The National Secretary stated this to newsmen in Owerri, regarding the 2023 general elections.

He said the coming of the PDP, would not only win the presidential election but would give hope to the downtrodden as well correct the wrongs made by the APC in the country.

According to Anyanwu, “PDP is coming to re-write the wrongs of the APC government in Nigeria. By the time our party starts delivering dividends of democracy, Nigerians will see the difference. Our government from 2023 will work assiduously to provide security, a good road network, quality education, employment and empowerment for Nigerians.

“The party’s victory at the poll in 2023 will restore hope to the downtrodden, the market women, Keke and taxi operators, pointing out that such a task remains so dear to the party.

“We understand that APC and its leaders are not happy that Nigerians have turned their backs against them, such development is already visited by the withdrawal syndrome facing this administration that is close to the end of its tenure.”

“PDP is coming to make a difference in Nigeria; our party will not betray those who are currently standing behind it; the party will carry the youths, and the women along; we understand the language of poverty and insecurity that are presently ravaging our nation. PDP has what it takes to solve the menace.

“Our party understands the deliberate ploy to starve and frustrate helpless Nigerians by President Buhari’s led APC administration, such a dangerous plan is the reason why PDP is charged to fight the injustice,” Anyanwu said.

PDP has been a very stupid opposition party; docile and lazy.

If it were a serious political party, by now APC would be smelling like rotten egg to Nigerians.

But right now, both APC and PDP have equal balance as far as 2023 general election is concerned.

Look at the killings all over Nigeria...

Look at the borrowings...

Look at inflation...

Look at naira exchange rate to naira...

Look at all the nepotistic acts of this government...

Look at the many promises of APC that it didn’t fulfill...

And many more...

These are points that PDP would have exploited to send APC to the grave but they decide to give their party spokesmanship to old men who are out of touch with modern tools of communication.

Now look at APC’s image almost unsullied.

True, who wouldn't reject this evil regime of APC of hunger, insecurity, corruption, evil and bad luck. At least, we bought bag of rice at 7,500 then compared to 28-30k now. Even those that are on NPower, what can your meagre 30k buy at the market, how long into the month can your NPower take you. Some are even collecting NPower with their normal salary yet find it difficult to survive in this God forsaken APC government.

Ruled the biggest economy in Africa for 16years yet so broke to build ordinary Secretariat.

They are lucky to rule when there was excesses, dem come deh make mouth like they are any better, if u couldn't manage ur small party finance, then its obvious u won't be able to manage Nigeria if u had won 2015

Pdp have still not showcased the people vying for the presidential seat on their platforms. All they keep talking about is Apc, tinubu and osinbajo.

I am not sure they are ready to contest come 2023.

But seriously, Nigerians mumu no be small...it is only in Nigeria I see people vote for an equally bad politician or political party, just to spite the incumbent person and party or even a region...totally forgetting that these sane people have contributed to the decay in the country in either of the party at one point or the other.

I know Nigerians will make the mistake all over again, and until we choose to have sense, or prolly after a revolution or peaceful or forceful divide of the country...Nigeria will never make progress
