Arresting the Health worker is a clear case of Health Care in Danger (HCiD).

And the arrest obviously negates the 1st Geneva convention of 1864 which protects the wounded and the sick during conflict situation.

Now, the way to go in this case is; treat the wounded bandit but alert the authorities while this is done. Or better still treat his wounds but don’t discharge him - again call the police while treating him.

Is he being arrested for helping somebody recover, or for being a bandit?

Health workers should not be arrested for treating anybody, including criminals. It's this kind of attitude that causes hospitals to refuse innocent gunshot victims.

You reason without thinking. That's why Nigeria is suffering.

If you were held at gunpoint as a doctor and asked to treat a bandit, would you treat him or not?

Let the investigation and questioning start from there.

I don't like people with shallow reasoning.

Answer my question, what would you do if you were that health worker?

oga a health worker is to treat anyone.
its their job to see life first
its humanity first
its the nature of the job
nigerians are so used to blood and death that we have lost it.
you dont expect him to say no
or report
he did this under duress

They should also arrest the Governors and politicians that gave him 'amnesty' before

Imagine arresting someone for treating a bandit when that same person would have been killed for not helping.
