Mentally-challenged is a more politically correct way of calling someone pathologically slow (general learning difficulties). Mentally-ill (even mad) is the more accurate descriptor here. Just saying. Having a depressive, manic or schizophrenic psychosis is not the same thing as having special needs at all (quite the opposite if anything). |
