Very true. But some hurt are deeper than gashed wounds. It isn't easy forgetting the way the Igbo messed up the Internet by calling the other Nigerians wicked names and abusing them like they weren't created by God Almighty. These things have repercussions and it is not easy forgetting a hurtful word, because the word is an egg. My fear is that if the two major parties present Igbo candidates for president, where will they find the votes? Who will vote for them? Even then wouldn't it be an act of treachery pleading for votes from the very people you maligned in the past? Herein lies the dilemma.

Come to think of it, all the people visited are not even relevant to Southwest politics. A Bode George that couldn't win his polling unit, Ayo Adebanjo with about 15-20 Afenifere members and a Ghani Adams that is just a business merchant, una never even serious at all.
You don't take the fight to your opponent's bossom or stronghold at the beginning of a fight, it makes you look weak and predictable, that's one thing PDP should learn. I bet that the SouthEast is the last place Tinubu will ever think of visiting. Matter of fact, he may not even visit at all cos he understands you guys don't want him and will rather build bridges with his allies rather than with leeches.

Seeking support sits at the heart of good democracy. Mr. pius Anyim knows it and that is why he is going out to broaden his support. What Mr. Pius Anyim should do next is to issue a strong statement of condemnation to those supporting zoning and presidential rotation. Zoning is undemocratic, not democracy. That kind of statement will show that Mr. Anyim is not afraid to lose. And it will also show that he is committed to making sure democracy keeps growing in Nigeria.

So far, I am encouraged by the ways in which Nigerian leaders are campaigning and talking about issues they care for. I bet you Nigerians are listening to Mr. Anyim, Tinubu and others talking about issues concerning to the lives of most Nigerians and want them to solve.
I am truly impressed! Lets go get it!

You should understand politics first. If you be politician, you go cast o. So you will leave PDP members/leaders and be running after those that can help you win Lagos? When you aren’t even your party’s candidate yet?

There is a time for everything. Now is the time for internal party consultation and meeting with neutral national stakeholders.
Aspirants have to consult internally first. It’s only normal to visit party leaders and other neutral national stakeholders. He visited Lagos state PDP leaders and neutral stakeholders, these are the people that can help him win his party’s primaries. After primaries they can start talking about if they can win Lagos or not.

He should have started his consultation in the South West, with a visit to the only PDP governor in the zone, Gov. Seyi Makinde and probably, a visit to Ayo Fayose and or, Senator Adeleke. I am even surprised he did not deem it fit to visit Baba Obasanjo during his trip to Lagos. A visit to Obasanjo would have given his bid a momentum which he would have taken to other parts of the country on his consultation drive.
A visit to any of MC Oluomo, Wizkid and, or Davido would have generated more news in the South West than personalities he met during his visit to the South West.

Ibos are funny. And look at the way they louded Ayim.. just take a look at the people he is working with. Lol. Bode George has been fighting Tinubu for 30 years and has not won just once.
