Met this girl the other day, asked her name and she said its Diamond, i told her mine is Ugo and she asks if i have an English name of which i reply No. I then ask for her native name of which says she doesnt like it and prefers Diamond. After much drilling i found out her native name is Egome. Now what is wrong with Egome? This trend is becoming popular among Nigerian girls in Nigeria. Any guys with similar experience? IN Malaysia, they are more Nigerian guys I know having an English name compared to Nigerian girls here.

A few I know:-
Olatunde becomes Kenny

Iyabosa becomes Anthony (Iyabosa has an elder brother and up till this date, he refuse to reveal his native name. He kept telling me to call him Austin)

Wale becomes William

Olumide becomes Henry but we all call him dudu because he has a very very very VERY VERYYYYY dark skin color

Lol Diamond, precious, treasure is not their real name, that is their stripper name. It is not only Nigerian girls that do it, it is girls everywhere.
