Nigerians are really doing well despite all the roadblocks.

I've never made use of flutterwave. Is it something that only companies can use?

PS: I have barter by flutterwave, but I have never used it. I don't see the need to.

I have and their payment solutions are seamless just like Paystack!

Nigeria doesn't lack talent, it only lacks visionary leadership!
There are many so many more talents like GB lurking in Nigeria, and Africa at large, but lacking the adequate infrastructure to thrive!

And the adequate business environment too!

With the right regulatory environment, Nigeria has no reason having many of its young people unemployed. So many of those startups will spring up.
The environment is so unfriendly that not a penny of this fund would be sitting in a Nigerian bank account, at least for now. Offshore banks are enabling other countries to grow their GDP and put more money in the hands of the citizens of those countries.
Those who work in the international financial system can tell you how rotten Nigeria is.

As for Flutterwave, it is time to get to work after Series D. Time to stop chasing valuation, but I forsee other fintechs Chipper Cash, etc. toppling their new achievement soon.
the environment can be created....

KEEP MARCHING ON ODUDUWA'S CHILDREN. NO LOUD AM.

When we take over tech as we did with afrobeats, some people will come and start shouting.

Meanwhile, when they had the chance to do this back home, they did not do it oh.

The time to develop Aba into a silicon valley is now.
Brotherman, this kind of mindset would not allow you go anywhere.

Please, don’t confine yourself. Nobody grows beyond his thought, reason why you should think big and dominate.
Peace.

Aba do not need to develop into a 'Silicon valley' , Aba need to develop into a shangai. Where things are manufactured. They just need a good govt, power and patronage from we Nigerians.

Aba will/is benefiting us all!

Lol another one bites the dust. When another tribe does well, we don’t pull them down or comment on mindset. When Omo oduduwa does well, they want us not to humble brag. Lagos is being modernised for the future by its own indigenes.

Benefit us all lol.
Lagos and southwest May end up as the Manufacturing hub seeing as We will have refinery proximity, exporting proximity and the expertise of the largest numbers of Igbos outside of igboland.
Yorubas will design and implement software, produce agricultural products and goods Igbos will manufacture and install, the rest can produce food. Good deal?

The Yoruba might top when it comes to IT but ABA top when it comes to manufacturing leather, shoes etc and that makes alot of money. If it seaport they can use the one in Akwa ibom.
It isn't a competition. You yorubas have an advantage in smething, the Igbos have theirs.

All they need is patronage and they can do Alot.
It shouldn't surprise you the shoes or your palm or some things you have might be made in aba. How many is made in ibadan or even Osun

We like fooling ourselves. It may have been founded by Nigerians but all the investors are foreigners and their head office is surely not in Nigeria. Its in the USA. Meaning, these boys are working for some people thousands of miles away. Most of the profits made in Africa will be ploughed back to the West.

That will then depend on individual investment, investment contract.

But normal human financial impulse will make investors expecting more, the longer the length of investment.

There is nothing hidden about it. The investors are either in Europe or America. The boys are just founders. They will make something anyway. Working for the slave-masters as usual.

This is indeed remarkable. An African (Nigerian) startup company overtaking the Chinese. Well done!

At $3 billion, Flutterwave is currently the highest valued African startup, surpassing the $2 billion valuation set by SoftBank-backed fintech OPay and FTX-backed cross-border payments platform Chipper Cash last year.

It's really good to see Nigerian companies doing well. Flickwheel is also a fintech company into car loans which can be paid back in installments.
This makes it easy for salaried workers for example

But their service is really helping my business as a freelancer.

Their exchange rate for withdrawal is so sweet (around $572 to $575).

I have since stopped withdrawing to my dom account hence no more aboki service
