when did CAN become a political party? Is Catholic Church not a member of CAN? Or are these people endorsing Sanwo Olu fractional members of CAN?

wahala. If to say the news reads; CAN Lagos state chapter endorses Jimi Agbaje, it would've been a sure way to Tinubu's dethronement.

“The blind can see the developments going on in Lagos and the determination to consolidate the THEMES agenda is wonderful and because of your outstanding performance, the church in Lagos State is saying unequivocally that one good turn deserves another and since you do not change a winning team, let us all pray and support this performing, pragmatic, wonderful, ever consciously proactive, people-oriented and God fearing Govt to continue for a second term”…CAN, Lagos State at the year 2022 Inter-denominational Divine Service.

There is a law on separation of church and state. But again this is Nigeria where anything goes.

To be honest without no endorsement from anyone I think Sanwo did very well and no need removing him but as Lagos is under their "emperor landlord" Sanwo could be booted out by the emperor landlord.

If this is true, it is very wrong.

While christians should be encouraged to participate in politics, the church as a body should be non-partisan.

Personally I think Sanwo Olu is not bad. Though, there is still much room for improvement. Some lagos' roads are still very bad, development of gettos in Lagos, improvement of power supply for Lagosians (Lagos is big enough to generate manage it's own power generation in such away that there will be 24/7 power supply) eradication of traffic jams through better road networks, proactive and technology backed security systems and many more things need to be done.

Jagaban has not spoken, ambode effect might dislodge him. Can and Muric should face their constituents.

These are the same people whose actions and agitations put Sanwo-Olu in difficult political situation by singing pact with Muslims in Lagos to engage in rotation between Muslims and Christians. They spent years protesting that Christians never ruled Lagos, after Ambode and Sanwo-Olu's 8yrs combined, the same people have taken a path that no further complaints will be entertained from them!

I think it's best they remain neutral to all parties. Nigerian politicians are very manipulative.
