Junior pastor should only report to senior pastor and not the wife cos it wasn't the wife that was ordained but the pastor so if the pastor is not around then the junior pastor should take on the mantle with the support of the wife of the senior pastor

The wife can only take charge if has been made as co- CEO/ Director or officially assistant to the husband...if not by default the assistant pastor is the next oga after pastor, if the president or chairman of country or organization is going to be off..does the wife takes charge or the vice? The senior pastors wife is the assistant to the senior pastor and should act in absence of the senior pastor.

If the junior pastor is not comfortable, then let him resign, not a big deal after all there are so many pastors already. He can join another ministry where his excesses will be condoned.

A catholic parish will not even let the parish priest miss the Holy Mass when there is no catechist or another priest to stand in for the parish priest.

Am yet to find a Bible passage that supports Pastor Mrs position in our churches today. It is more of a rationalised position/doctrine. Even Peter who was the head of the church never brought his wife into the picture let alone other disciples.

You are even contradicting yourself here, firstly the woman was not the ordained one but her husband so if the pastor is not around the next anointed one which is the junior pastor takes over without fear or intimidation from the wife of the senior pastor, this is the church of God and not the family business

The rule is clear here when the pastor is not around the junior or assistant takes over that's how its suppose to be and not the other way....

Do you know her personally to know she isn't anointed or ordained? I say so because most of these pastors wife, usually tab from their husbands grace/anointing after being married for a while. Also, some pastors do not marry just any woman, they take time to chose gifted women.

If this church is a true church then I'll say it is dead wrong for the wife to take control when the husband is not there. If it is a business... she has all rights to take control. For you OP... as a member... her action should tell you the church you're attending is a business.... the junior pastor is just an employee ... a houseboy.

I am not defending Catholic. I only pointed out the fact that apart from the Bible, Catholic has doctrines that can be followed to judge what happens in Catholic. Apart from the Bible, no doctrine can be used to judge pentecostal churches. And I used the Bible to judge the case highlighted in the post. I am right about saying pentecostals survive on biblical deviations. Making women pastors is a proof.

Is the church registered with CAC, is the wife name there or the junior pastor. there lies the answer you seek.

Tell your Pastor to draw an organogram for his church else he will settle conflicts till his old age in ministry. And when he is gone, the Church may fall.

When a church doesn't have a structure of how information signal flows, it will give room for things like this. As for Pastor's wife, she should stop looking down on the junior pastor who is probably next to her hubby by ranking. She shouldn't let the Pastor(Mrs.) title enter her head too much.

Her hubby should engage her with some responsibility other than just having her manage women's forum. She should also officiate like other pastors and deacons. This will help her respect other offices reflexly.
