I do not mean to insult you or the Yoruba tribe, but from my observation on social media, either on instagram, twitter or nairaland, most Yoruba youths sound dumb and unintelligent, compared to their older generation.

HE Okorocha actually made some very valid points. The problem is that APC is now bigger and the stakes now higher.
I actually pity his own bloc because they do not have the numbers and formidable unity to get special concession without HE Uzodinma opposing him.

So after how many months - year since the dismissal of Adams Oshiomole, the party has not been able to unite. Meanwhile the onions on ground was that Oshiomole was the problem. With lies and counter fighting against him, he was eventually pulled down to to the joy of his opponents.

What Oshiomole was fighting after and trying to establish was that Party members should be the people to decide who will govern or represent them. But what we have now that is causing problems in both APC and PDP is that it is the State’s governor’s that has the power, disregarding both the national, state and local party executives and members.

The governor’s are now demy gods and are now bigger than the party, the moments they are elected. This is the root cause of the problem, like who cares about the party laws when you can use the court.

This is also part of the reasons why democracy in Nigeria as become a caricature.

In America and other Nations that are flourishing, the party has its own manifesto and the candidate they will pick flies with it, not your personal manifesto. This is because you joined the party in the first place because you feel you can work with it’s manifesto and ideology.

Apart from APC politics of possible attrition, Okorocha's Imo West senatorial zone is being consumed by violence whose origin is only known by politicians. Too many people have died in the zone since the last two years.
Okorocha is in the position to stop the violence. But he watches it. He told fellow lawmakers to call him Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not Senator for Orlu senatorial zone. Continue without knowing that millions of eyes are watching you.
