Just because you are Igbo doesn't guarantee you being a president. To be president you need to have skills for governance I.e. building concensus and working with various interest groups - both friendly and unfriendly. Unfortunately Igbos have mostly choose activism. To be an activist is easy....you can point out problems but you end up isolating yourself.
Most Nigerians will be concerned having an Igbo president. Igbos are the only tribe to declare independence from Nigeria and ipob is actively seeking that....such activism destroys the little trust Nigerians gave Igbos when Ojukwu acknowledged that the Biafra war was a mistake and actively participated in the Nigerian politics heading APGA party.
