The list appears to favour South South for Presidency because it does not have any top party position zoned to it unlike South West with National Secretary, and South East with Deputy Chairman, both strong offices in party hierachy

If the crisis in the APC is resolved Tinubu will be the candidate of the APC. He has worked and spent his resources for the party.

If the crisis is not resolved then the least expected person will emerge which is Yaha Bello.

Osinbanjo despite his popularity has not declared interest and won’t even want to declare against tinubu. Osinbanjo does not have a structure in place. He rose to power through structure of tinubu. Osinbanjo can only emerge as APC candidate by miracle as some cabals in the north haven’t forgiven him yet for some decisions he made while he was acting president.
The South East is a lost course coz of ESN/IPOB activities.

Wike is the most popular governor from the north and has popularity in the north, he was actually going for the VP slot but now he has his mind fixed on the presidential seat.
He said in a news recently that the South in PDP will make a strong statement soon. Watch out how he will declare interest for presidency.

If we go back to the last time APC zoned positions in 2018 under oshomole leadership some zones got less which didn't translate to getting executive position

While you had 5 posts with 1-2 more than the other south it still didn't stop APC from zoning speaker and vice president to your zone, while ss, se with less post got nothing in executive and legislative

So don't believe since you got less number this time it automatically means you would have president, APC must balance the injustice south west took on the entire south

This time another south would benefit more
