It was on January 7, 2022 that a 2023 presidential election campaign poster of Goodluck Jonathan first appeared online with the inscription "GEJ Is Coming Back" and the ex-president's image was seen posing in deep thought.https://politicsnigeria.com/analysis-permutations-to-return-jonathan-to-power-in-2023-and-his-continued-silence/ 3 Likes

What do we really know? If he emerges the APC ticket holder, it would mean the party as a whole never had anything worthwhile to offer in the first place. Otherwise, his reputation remains intact. So however the game plays out, GEJ remains cool... 21 Likes 1 Share |

One of the most useless presidents the country ever had. He commissioned a lot of projects on the pages of newspapers. He was a weakling and a puppet despite assembling one of the best cabinets in recent times. President Buhari, despite his own failures is better than this man in terms of Infrastructure, 100%. 44 Likes 4 Shares |

Return him and return power to the north. Jonathan is term bound. The constitution permits an individual to be lected president for two terms of 4 years each. GEJ was first elected in 2011 and completed 4 years on May, 29th 2015. He has just 4 more years to go. If he wins in 2023, he can't go beyond 2027 and power would shift to the north 6 Likes |

Nonsense permutations. Jonathan can't even try it. The gentleman understands Nigeria better and I bet he won't involve himself in such race. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Which permutation are you talking about? Jonathan remains the worst president Nigeria ever have after Abacha. He is a bad market for whoever planning to bring him back. One of my greatest disappointments in Buhari's government is that Jonathan is not in jail right now. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

Slurity:That's what alot of people don't get. They keep saying under GEJ, dollar was this, price of rice was this. What happened in 2015 to Nigeria under Buhari would have happened to any president in terms of economic crises. How much was dollar to Naira in 2010 when GEJ took over? What's the exchange rate when he left? Same thing would have happened if he won second term. Yes, some policies under Buhari are wrong, but certain things were inevitable. See how USA is experiencing worst inflation, as if it was caused by Joe Biden, but the economic indices left by Trump and terrible impact of COVID 19 17 Likes 5 Shares |

If Jonathan comes out , other contestant should just go and rest He'll win majority in the north and middle belt where he's going encounter small problem would be down here in the south even at that he'd share the votes 3 Likes |

Streamz:Like oil price crash right? Like COVID 19 right? Like NOI confessing that in 2014 they started borrowing to pay federal government staff salaries You are the irrational one here. Yes, some policy failures are caused by the regime, some are not. Blame Joe Biden for the worst inflation in US history in years Blame him for fuel price hike in USA too 8 Likes 1 Share |

davodyguy: Those are people with zero knowledge of economics. For a mono product economy like ours, twice under Buhari crude oil got to $10, so what do you expect to happen to naira. No matter what President we had, the situation would have been dire. Although having said that Buhari is also a useless President for many other reasons. 6 Likes |

Anyone nursing such ambition or in support of Jona return to power has definitely join the leagues of madness, and such people should be matched straight to Aro in Abeokuta for treatment . COMPAQ:I agree that Buhari is clueless, but not all the economic problems came from him. The dollar shortages has nothing to do with him. But we can say Emefiele messed up with Naira devaluation, which has caused inflation, because we import almost 90% of goods into Nigeria. When you buy at ₦10,000 due to ₦570 to a dollar, you must sell higher than ₦10,000 Exchange rate is a major cause if inflation 7 Likes |

What infrastructure!!! Don't be delusioned with infrastructure propaganda. If adhering to the tenet of Democratic principles is what you and your co travellers in Nigeria termed weakling then, you and your likes are better off with military in power. GEJ achievements is visible for All to see except the misguided ones will say otherwise. Nigeria has never gone this low in term of economic, FDI, security, politics, disunity based on tribes, and others. Omicron007: 4 Likes 1 Share |
