You are lost and sick in the brain. Russia already invaded Ukraine years back to steal Crimea. They have already invaded Ukraine the second time to steal Luhansk and Donetsk. This prompted Ukrainian President to seek for refuge under NATO because of the incessant bullying from their neighbours. NATO is not the main problem as Zelenskyy is ready to shun NATO but Putin has insisted that before they stop the war they will cut out Luhansk and Donetsk from Ukraine and probably annex it into Russia.
