The 13th Colloquium in honour of the former Governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was cancelled when important invited guests were already seated.

The Colloquium was in celebration of the 70th birthday of the man refered to as the Jagaban of Borgu.
All guests including Monarchs, Governors, business gurus in Nigeria and in Diaspora were all seated waiting for the commencement of the program when the 'birthday boy' appeared and went straight to the Podium to address his guests.
TINUBU was not his usual self, he worn a mournful face. With him on the right was the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, far right was the Governor of Kano State, Abdulahi Ganduje and on his left was the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba.

TINUBU refused to follow any normal protocol to send a message that he was in a sad mood as a result of the tragedy at the Kaduna-Abuja terrorists attack on Monday, March 18, 2022 in which he said over 60 people bombed and many are hospitalised.
He added that, there was no reason of dancing and celebrating when such a nationa tragedy "befelll our dear nation."
"I have been informed of very sad incident in our country.  Very sad indeed! That over 60 people and many more were bombed in the train between Kaduna-Abuja just last night.  That is a very serious incident about security of lives in this country.  And it called for a very serious sober reflection."
"To me to declare, celebrating, dancing and enjoyment...not the style of a statesman, as a senior citizen of this country.'

"I will urge the two Clergies who are here present to continue to pray and everyone of you to go home and pray."
The hall was extremely silent when the celebrant said,
"This event should not be hold."
He went further that the people who were standing with him agreed as Democrat with him about the decision made.
Thereafter, the Islamic and Christian Clergies offered their prayers for peace in Nigeria after a-minute-silence was given for the departed souls.
Many important dignitaries who were seated at the event including, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Governor of Osun State, his First Lady, Mr and Mrs Adegboyega Oyetola and the Osun State Deputy Governor, Gboyega Alabi, Oluwo of Iwo, Oba of Lagos, Ooni of Ife and many other important dignitaries worn mournful looks after the announcement and left the Hall quietly one after the other.
