The benefactors are still the government, after all they collect import duties. Believe what this government are saying simply mean you can believe anything. These are just a way to excuse theirselves from their failure. If there is 24hrs light, who will now buy fuel for generator and that will reduce government income, imagine senators saying that they don't want electric cars in Nigeria because it will reduce the consumption of fuel and will result to not having people to buy our oil. Our leaders have turned this our natural resource to a curse. Leaders that can't think our of the box, all they know how to do is to look for a means to gain power and loot.

Some people who desperately want to get back into power feels this is the best way to go about it. A self sabotaging madness, even if you do get into power do you then assume this will stop? You're setting in motion a vicious cycle of economic sabotage.

This is funny because I am fully aware that generator was a necessity in Nigeria since I was little. Now am hearing that people are behind the absence of constant power supply for the past 9 yrs.
