It's either the West wants a nuclear war or they're simply being stupid. The power of every country's army is its weapons. Russia clearly surpasses Ukraine in weapons and can neutralize it without any stress in a full fledged war.

But being armed by NATO and the influx of NATO mercenaries, Ukraine might soon be at par with Russia in terms of weapons and man power. Putting Russia at a disadvantaged position might force Russia to go nuclear.

Those tanks were not the new model Russian tanks that would use if NATO had deliberately moved in.the earlier troops were mainly not even supposed to have been moved.that is why the rumours of sacks and removals of some senior officers.
As we speak Russia has not deployed or basically they deployed chickens to enjoy themselves.if NATO had physically registered itself.....
