Nothing sweet pass being a rich and wealthy man in Lagos or any other part of Nigeria.

It's only poor people that denigrate this great country and they think going abroad is a sure escape route from poverty...

I basically own and control the police station in my locality, the OC debriefs me regularly on security situation in my area.

I have white people work for me from all around the globe and they get paid as at when due.

I can't even count how many duplexes and mansions that I own.

I travel to any country without visa because I have countless CBI passports.

I live like a king and general even as a fvcking civilian.

The only social media I use is nairaland and I am a ghost on other social networks.

I love my country Nigeria, I die here!
see what joblessness and hunger have turned you into

True. Language was my first culture shock. I couldn’t believe that I’d see myself in a place where no one spoke fluent English. I didn’t understand anything. Not even the signs. I literally had to use google translate for everything. I had no choice. Now the culture no longer shocks me.

Wow... I can only imagine!

Now you also imagine if you had no data in such a place?? grin

I feel you my negga. This is what most people don’t realize. Just have your money in this country and you can get away with almost anything. How much be police escort sef? Who born monkey to come do anyhow for where you dey? You talking about living like a king, negga I live like a young god!

Most people aren't leaving the country because they want to live like kings or gods. Most people leave coz they want sanity. You may think moving about with police escort is cool, but guess what? People leave the country coz they want to feel safe without needing police escort. And you think getting away with anything coz you have the money is ideal, shame on you. Pigs like you is the reason people leave the country.

Life in Nigeria is actually sweeter and more soul satisfying than in all this oyinbo countries. Been there done that, me live in countries like Norway, Canada etc God forbid. You can make your money there but coming back to Nigeria as soon as possible should be your priority or else sorry will be your name.

Not a culture shock. It's just time zone differences.

Them go go abroad spend one year and won't allow us rest. What about us wey don dey abroad tey tey.

Shey this same abroad wey we dey so , na him them carry for head.

One dude here described the lifestyle of a Nigerian god living like a king in Nigeria. Now that's what I call living.
