We're Stock Piling Bombs - Boko Haram shocked shocked shocked

Abuja — There was palpable tension yesterday at the main Secretariat premises of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) as soldiers from the Nigerian Army, fully-armed and fierce-looking Policemen and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) cordoned off the entire premises, searching staff and visitors up to their pants.

This was shortly after the dreaded Boko Haram sect issued a directory warning Muslims to steer clear of Christians, public servants, public installations and political gatherings and from politicians.

Daily Champion learnt from a source that there was an intelligent security report that Boko Haram who have been carrying out series of bomb attacks in the country have listed the FCTA premises along side the Head quarters of the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) as targets in the FCT.

Following the threat , the source said, security agencies in collaboration with authorities of FCTA do not want to take any information for granted hence a combined security team comprising of the Army, Police ,Civil Defence corps, State Security Services (SSS) among others were deployed to manned security both within and outside the premises of the Federal Capital Territory Administration as well as the Federal Capital Development Authority( FCDA).

The sect had in a directory signed by Abu Zaid, its spokesman, warned of dire consequences should anyone be cut in their escapades, which has so far claimed several lives, especially in Borno state and other northern parts of the country.

The group in the statement boasted the havoc it has so far wreaked in parts of the country is with just five per cent of their arms and ammunition requirements, stressing that they have started selling their property and other belongings to have enough money to purchase needed arms.

Zaid said: "The only dialogue in this crisis is as follows: Stop abiding by the constitution in our land (Dualan Usmaniyya), and government must be sincere and stop terrorizing Muslims in Maiduguri and parts of the North, then there should be a time limit for ceasing fire to gauge Government commitment in keeping to its promise, which cannot be more than ten years.

"What is holding us back is the innocent civilian population, but as soon as people stay clear from security agents we will launch a full-scale attack. Unarmed Muslims were picked up from their homes and from their hospital beds and summarily executed; the world saw it on AlJazeera.

"Yet the same government wants to forgive us for the wrongs they meted on us. In actual sense, we are the ones that should give amnesty to the Borno State Government.

"We as a group don't kill people who are innocent. What we are trying to tell people is that, in regaining the pride of the people in Islam, people have to endure in losing their properties and sometimes lives are also involved and this can fall on everyone, including us.

"This is a government that is not Islamic. Therefore, all its employees-Muslims and non-Muslims are Infidels. This is a government which naturally fights Islam because Muslims were killed were killed in Zango Kataf, in Jos and Southern Kaduna but the perpetrators have never been prosecuted by the so-called existing laws of the land.

"Mosques were destroyed and punishment for this is death. Therefore, we have the right to kill them all. But if there are people who profess Islam and do not take part in Government or Western Education, their blood and wealth are sacred unless otherwise".

It was learnt that immediately this information got to the attention of government, they immediately deployed a joint patrol team to FCTA and all sensitive areas in the city. This position was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT Police Command, Mr. Jimoh Moshood.

If you like pile missles and atomic bomb, nothing can shake us as a country. Your threats can't bring the country down, its only waxing us stronger. Shame on Islam
