Dear Lagosians, pls bear wit us. 2days downpour hs been heavier than normal as d state govt had earlier warned. It hs been raining since 5am in many areas& it hasn't stopped. The water level has risen incredibly so tht d channels tht r meant 2 discharge water frm d drainages r completely blocked because of d high tide& because both d Atlantic Ocean& Lagoon tht receive water frm our channels hav risen more than usual. Pls endeavour to remain indoors as much as possible until the rain stops. Pls 4ward to2all ur contacts. Thnk u 4 ur understanding.
