Islie:Useless rant. Nigeria can be greater than China if the goodwill is there. Where government deliberately makes policy to stifle technological development and refuses to infuse national consciousness in the polity cannot grow balls to confront insurgency and banditry. For months, students have been at home because of ASUU strike and nobody cares because the leaders have anti intellectual disposition. What do you expect from such s country. For over 30,months Nigeria was embroiled in fratricidal war. Where are the scientists and inventions by the Biafran scientists that prolonged the war. Nowhere to be found because of hate. And How do you expect such a country to advance 1 Like |

Well, I'm not shocked. Nigeria is not even a sovereign nation anymore. FG granted west African neighbours access to ransack the nation and it's the Chinese turn now. 1 Like |

National Assembly Begs Chinese Govt To Rescue 62 Kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna Train Passengers | NairaLand "The Joint National Assembly Committee on Land Transport on Wednesday begged the Chinese Government to help rescue 62 passengers abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna passengers’ train on the 28th March 2022 by suspected terrorists." "The Chinese Government makes money from the many rail projects that are being handled by the China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) here in Nigeria, so asking them to help us is not out of place." Me: Today mark 48 days exactly when murderous terrorists allied to BokoHaram bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train, killed scores and kidnapped dozens. The fact that these murderous terrorists operated unchecked and unchallenged underlined the monumental failures of the Buhari regime that perpetrated genocide in Zaria. Nigerian Lawmakers are now on their knees begging a foreign power to come and rescue the 62 Kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna Train Passengers. Can't you see how useless the Buhari regime is? Please Pray For the Passengers in Captivity! They are our brothers and sisters. #ElbinawiTweets |

When some Nigerians with vision raised alarm in 2015 that Buhari is incompetent and clueless, they called them wailers. Today those wailers have been vindicated. Again they warned Nigerians never again will a sick clueless and incompetent candidate contest for president. Mr. Tinubu again is contesting for president, another national catastrophic disaster waiting to happen, this time he will be worst than Buhari. His supporters are still calling some people wailers. |

Shame, with all the resources we have to better this country, leadership and corruption will not allow us, we would have gotten all the technology we need instead of stressing our poorly paid security personnels to work manually and we always expect great results. Depending too much on these Chinese with loan loan and loan every time is another issue, I hope they will not one day take over our economy over too much of indebtedness,as they may not know of hidden clause while signing documents, they are clever. I hope we will not also be at the mercy of the world powers when there is an unprovoked attack like the attack on Ukraine, have we been able to acquire all the necessary weapon, in case it happens, cos some country just like to flex muscle on the perceived weak. It's a shame and worrisome Nigeria is facing these problem. Whatever they will do to rescue the innocents in captivity should be done, we are already shameless. |

darichlife: It is almost too late. The future of most Nigerians is another 50-100 years of slavery. 1700-1900:- slaves to the white man and Arab 1901-1960:- colonial slaves to the white man 1965- present:- debt slaves to the European IMF and world Bank, including the Chinese Future:- slaves to the Chinese But the future is full of possibilities, not set in stone. It can still be changed for better. 1 Like |
